I'd like to add a third series, probably not immediately, but after we've done a session with the current two series. Let me know what interests you, or leave your own suggestions!
Grand Touring Lite
---------------------------------
This would be something like a lower level GT or SCCA series. Think MX-5, Optima, Solstice, or lower end Mustang, Camaro, Charger.
Year: 2020
Max Cost: 10,000
Car must follow one of three limitations listed here:
Max 200 hp, Min 2200 lbs
Max 250 hp, Min 2750 lbs
Max 300 hp, Min 3300 lbs
Classic Trans Am B
---------------------------------
This would be a classic series based on a lower class in the golden era of the Trans Am Series
Year: 1972
Sedan, Hatchback, or Coupe
Under 2.5L
14 or 15 inch wheels
Max Cost: 7500
Max Production Units: 200
Engineering Time: 72
We could also do the same thing but an "A" series. 2.5L-5L engines, every other rule the same. I've noticed in testing that AI does not do well with front engine RWD cars, especially with a good power to weight ratio. We could do this series but I'm afraid it would come down to whichever car didn't spin out.
Rally Something
-------------------------------
I don't have a detailed idea for this, and I haven't done much testing. Either longish point to point races, rallycross style races, or maybe a mixture of both?
I don't know much about Rally Racing, but we'd go with a simplified version of these rules.
I can do more testing to see if this is possible, but I want to know if this is something that is wanted to begin with.
Street Racing
-----------------------------
This one sounds really fun to me.
No extremely limiting rules, but an incredible variation of tracks. Street drag strips varying in length, highway circuits, point to point races across a city, point to point through long twisty roads, some offroad in a couple spots. I'd like some rules to make this not be a supercar challenge. 5L max displacement (305 c. i.) sounds like a good limit to start off with. We could set an emissions and/or noise limit maybe, to make it street legal street racing, mostly just as an excuse to keep crazy super cars out of the competition. Some sort of money limit would also make sense. This would be the competition where design will shine. Crazy wings, front spoilers, hopefully some intuitive paint designs. The idea would be a Fast and the Furious, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, or Midnight Club sort of theme. With that being said, maybe more of an import/tuner theme with a 2.4L engine limit? Let me know!
I got an idea !!!!!!!!!!!! I used the lines you sent (by the way, I think it's not a good idea to share the lines, because it's like a spoiler to a movie ) and got an idea! - fuel racing!!!!!!!! evey car gets 1 liter of fuel and the car that reaches the farthest wins
