So for starters, I'm thinking 4 cylinder, 2.5L max engine displacement. Maybe less?
Some sort of emissions limit, not sure what a good number is.
Same thing with noise, I think there should be a limit, although I don't know what it would be.
I think a safety level of 50 would make sense although I'm open to ideas.
Give me your thoughts, I'm currently testing ideas in Automation.
EDIT: Should we ban carbon fibre? Typically it would only be a carbon fibre hood at most, not all of the panels and/or the chassis.
Another Edit: Minimum Fuel efficiency? Minimum reliability?
i'm wondering with the cars getting a bit too quick for the lines maybe making this a hot hatchback style class would slow the cars down quite a bit. i was thinking
engine: 1.6 with turbo, 2.0 without. sound under 50
fuel: 95 octane fuel rating and a car emissions level of 150
body: production style body with lights and trim.
safety: 2020 build year with a 50 safety rating.
materials: no carbon fibre, magnesium or titanium on any part of the car
cost: maxiumum of $12000 build cost
